David Phillips, is a proposal manager for Stanley, Inc., a mid-sized IT services firm in Arlington, VA. A Northern Virginia native, David is a survivor of intimate partner violence and a longtime community health advocate. David presented on Alternate Sexual Exploration at the 2005 and 2008 Gay Men’s Health Summits and is facilitating a cross-country discussion among Gay men’s health advocates and LGBTQ media activists on responding to “health panics” in the press involving Gay men and men who have sex with men.
